The API (application programming interface) is a programming term referring to a series of rules. APIs direct an application to extract data from a service and use that data within an application or for analytics. In many instances, APIs open a channel to provide solutions to customer problems or other priorities, such as marketing.
Click-Throughs
Click-throughs is the process of clicking an online advertisement that links to the advertiser’s destination. It is the action or facility of following a hypertext link to a particular website, especially a commercial one. There is also click-through rate which is the average number of click-throughs per hundred ad impressions (when a user sees an advertisement), expressed as a percentage.
